Wrist & Hand Pain Care in Pembroke Pines
Hand symptoms are worth examining properly, because the same numbness can come from the wrist, the elbow, or the neck — and the treatment differs at each level.
The pattern of which fingers are involved, and what makes symptoms worse, usually points to the right one.

How we approach wrist and hand pain
- 1
Localize the nerve
Testing at the wrist, elbow and neck determines where the symptoms are actually generated before anything is treated.
- 2
Free the pathway
Soft tissue work through the forearm, wrist mobilization and treatment of any neck contribution found on exam.
- 3
Change what provokes it
Keyboard and wrist positioning, grip technique and nerve-gliding exercises give the tissue a chance between visits.
Questions we get asked
- Is this carpal tunnel syndrome?
- Possibly. Carpal tunnel has a characteristic pattern, but neck-related nerve irritation can imitate it, which is why both regions are examined.
- Do I need nerve testing?
- Nerve conduction studies are useful in some cases, particularly when symptoms are persistent or there is measurable weakness. We refer when it would change the plan.
- Can I keep working?
- Usually, with modifications to setup and technique. We focus on the specific tasks that flare your symptoms.
