No surprises and no pressure. Here is exactly how a first appointment at our Pembroke Pines office runs, start to finish.
The first appointment, step by step

We start with what happened, what makes it better or worse, and what you can no longer do comfortably. This shapes everything that follows.

A hands-on exam
Movement testing, joint-by-joint assessment, and orthopedic and neurological screening — plus in-office diagnostic ultrasound if soft tissue needs a closer look.

Findings explained
We tell you what we found in plain language, what we think is driving it, and what care would involve. You can ask anything before agreeing to it.

Treatment, usually the same day
If the exam supports it, we begin care during that first visit. If it points somewhere else, we say so and help you get to the right provider.
What to bring
- Photo ID and a payment method (we accept HSA and FSA cards)
- Any imaging or reports you already have (X-ray, MRI, CT)
- A list of medications and supplements you take
- Accident or claim information if your visit relates to a car accident or injury case
- Clothing you can move comfortably in
Do not have imaging or past records handy? Come anyway. We will work with what you have and tell you if anything else is needed.
Timing and location
Plan for a longer visit the first time — the exam and discussion take more time than a follow-up. Arrive a few minutes early to complete intake paperwork.

Common questions
- Will I be adjusted on the first visit?
- Often yes, if the exam supports it. If your findings suggest a different starting point — soft tissue work, decompression, or referral for imaging — we start there instead.
- Do you take insurance?
- We do not bill general health insurance. We are a cash-based practice with flexible payment options and memberships, and we accept HSA and FSA cards. You will hear clear pricing before care begins, with no surprise billing.
- How long will the first visit take?
- Longer than a routine visit, because the exam and explanation come first. The front desk will give you a realistic window when you book.
- My visit is for a car accident. Anything different?
- Bring your claim, adjuster and attorney information if you have it. Exam findings and imaging are documented in your record for your case.
